Where can I go?
From the US, where can I travel to without a Covid test or a quarantine requirement RIGHT NOW?
Here’s the answer effective November 30, 2020, and surprisingly there is a small handful which could be very interesting options.
Albania, no test or quarantine, just a health screening upon arrival.
Belarus – requires a health screening only with a temperature check at the airport and other points of entry.
Brazil, previously the “epicenter” has reopened for international travel. Americans don’t need to provide anything unless the airline requires they do so.
Costa Rica is OPEN and not requiring a PCR test for US Citizens. Simply complete the online form found at https://salud.go.cr prior to arrival and purchase travel insurance that covers accommodation in case of quarantine and medical expenses for acute illness. You will be required to present your insurance policy upon entry which must cover up to a minimum of $50K USD in medical expenses per person.
Dominican Republic, home to Punta Cana and the very popular Cap Cana resort area, is OPEN. No quarantine or test required. Guests are randomly selected for testing upon arrival by a breath test, at no cost to the traveler.
Mexico – our neighbor to the south, is OPEN, and have been since June with no testing or quarantine. They’re doing a phenomenal job and we’re thankful for this option!!! All arrivals pass through a temperature scan and health screening. As your Professional Travel Advisor about pre-filling out entry forms prior to departure.
North Macedonia – arrivals will only receive a temperature check via a thermal camera when presenting their passport for entry.
Serbia – US arrivals from other countries nearby may require a Covid test, but direct from US do not.
Tanzania – Who wants to take a safari? Tanzania is open and so long as you don’t pass through a country requiring testing along the way, you may enter without a test or quarantine.
and FINALLY, Turkey – a health screening will occur upon arrival and anyone exhibiting symptoms will require a test, but otherwise, no test, no quarantine.
